Privacy policy
Effective 9 October 2026
Who we are
TryKeeb is a pre-launch service for trying ergonomic and split keyboards. For questions about this policy or your personal data, contact privacy@trykeeb.com.
Information we collect
If you join the waitlist once submissions are enabled, we collect your email address, country, and whether you are interested in trying, lending, or both. The current waitlist form is a prototype and does not submit or store this information yet.
With your permission, we use PostHog to collect pseudonymous usage information, such as pages viewed, interactions with the keyboard preview, device and browser details, approximate location derived from IP address, and technical error reports.
Why we use it
We use waitlist information to tell you when TryKeeb is available in your country. We use analytics and error reports to understand how the site is used, measure interest in keyboard types, and find and fix technical problems.
Legal basis and choices
We process waitlist information with your consent. We only enable optional analytics, error tracking and session replay (a recording of mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and page content, in which all form inputs, such as the waitlist form, are masked and never recorded) after you choose “Accept analytics” in the consent notice. You can decline without affecting access to the site. To change your choice, clear this site’s local storage and reload the page.
Sharing and international transfers
We use PostHog as a processor for analytics, error tracking and session replay. PostHog may process data on our behalf in the European Economic Area or other locations with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep waitlist information until launch, until you ask us to remove it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose described above. Session recordings are kept for 30 days. Analytics and error data are kept for up to 1 year.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to make a request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as TryKeeb develops. We will publish the updated version here and change the effective date.
